Title Page - Want to Smack It? by Mark

 I'm posting this article as a tribute to Mark, long term artist at Jockspank, but also to advise readers, who do not know, that JockSpank has moved to a new site, JockSpank.net. It's a consequence of the sad loss, last year, of the founder, Bruce aka Ward aka Jonathan (the famed spanking artist). Like many others, I did not know that these were all the same person.

Mark's picture above pretty much speaks for itself, his photoshopping technique of old, now upgraded to exploit the seductive images that can be created by AI. Some much-loved stereotyping of old given an attractive, modern makeover here.

There's a great core image in this one. You can see how Mark has cleverly adapted it from sun bathing to bun.... but I digress! 

I have to own up to fiddling with a few of these images, hope you don't mind Mark! In this case I reversed it so that the dialogue reads from left to right, if you prefer right to left you can still see it in Mark's Original Image

 

Mark - But Is It Art?

 I've discussed the relationship between artist and model in the past here, the element of trust that must always exist between them, but which can be tested where the requirements of he who pays the piper are more exacting than normal. Mark lays it out quite eloquently here, upping the ante by depicting multiple, handsome models simultaneously experiencing an A&F moment of dreadful realisation. 

 

Shipboard Discipline - by Mark, After Jovial Dragon

 

This uniform would inspire many fantasies not conducive to good discipline aboard a spaceship. A constant distraction and temptation, but I suppose the creators knew what they were doing!

 

I haven't come across the original that inspired this image, but there's more art by Jovial Dragon at mitchmen, with a link to his DeviantArt site.

 

 

Mark - Deep Space Spanking

 I couldn't add to Mark's own words in this one, but I admire the subtlety of his treatment. The sign above the door is a nice touch.

 

Mark - Double-Trouble (detail)

 

I have extracted this detail from Mark's original because it is so impressively compact and neat. The model, recognisable from Bound Gods etc, but seen here in a realistic-looking, normal (ish!) work situation, adds an extra layer of interest. Stretched underwear and discarded clothes add spice.

Mark - Painfully Public Penance

 We'd all like to see this, and not only for reasons of civic duty. Mark has found a highly suitable base model, who looks the part of a delinquent with just enough sense of intimidating toughness about him to make the situation work.

Mark - Pick Your Battles Wisely

I'm just a sucker for rugby men. The mud and confiscated shorts are neat, additional twists to the player's predicament.

Mark - Reckless Speculator (detail)

Ever since the financial crisis, some years ago, high-flying Bankers have often seemed a suitable subject for stern treatment. Another super, underlying image, cleverly converted with the substitution of a paddle handle that ought to go down in the annals of hidden eroticism. The model, originally straddling a bench of plugs, is now riding a much more demanding platform, a desk top, surrounded by his discarded clothes.

 

Mark's original shows the outcome of his boss's threat.

A gym bunny provides a suitable 'ending' for this article but not the end of Mark's creative genius. There are four parts in this imaginative series.
